Sunny Sunday Stroll

Here goes, my first attempt at a blog post.

My friend Jenn came for a visit this weekend. After a lovely sleep in (thanks to my 3 dogs who stayed quiet till almost 9), and a cup of coffee, we decided to take a walk in the forest. As usual, I grabbed my camera bag and out we went.

We finally got some rain last week, and everything is so lush and alive! Bugs on almost every leaf. I try not to get too distracted taking photos when I have company or when the dogs are with me. Sometimes I completely lose track of time and the surroundings, and when I surface, the dogs are gone and I have to reorient. But today I thought I was doing really good. Little did I know that Jenn was taking photos of me taking photos. Seriously, I would have brushed my hair and put on some makeup had I known…lol. It seems she was paying attention when I was chattering about how I needed to update a photo of me on my homepage from winter to summer. So I will take them, and we’ll call it a new fashion statement.
